The event is designed around a week long residency where artists from different disciplines create site specific works in and around the historic Llanfyllin Workhouse.
"Interventions 2008" artists:
from Estonia: Tiiu Kirsipuu, Sofi Arshas, Orest Kormašhov, Margot Kask, Kai Kaljo
from Wales: Tom Gilhespy, Nick Lloyd, Cordelia Weedon, Ruth Carter
Interventions plans to run on an annual basis in association with the Llanfyllin workhouse as a means of facilitating cross cultural dialogue between professional international artists and also offering the local community an opportunity to experience the working practice of international artists.
The event took place as part of the wider Walestonia Festival and received support from: The Estonian Embassy, The Estonian Artists Union, Tallinn University, Wales Arts International
Powys County council, Arts Connection Community Arts, The Llanfyllin Workhouse.
